Enterprise Project Management SAP Canada

Developing a robust project management capability is a priority within SAP Canada, and is critical to achieving revenue and profit targets for FY 2001. As part of an initiative to establish this capability, SAP Canada (through its Ottawa office) established a customer-funded Project Management Office (PMO) in support of the SAP implementation for the New City of Ottawa. TeamSAP included Robbins-Gioia, Inc. – an international management consulting firm providing industry leading project management solutions to a broad range of commercial and government clients.

Based on the initial success of the New City of Ottawa PMO, SAP Canada intends to collaborate with Robbins-Gioia in establishing a broader project management capability, including establishing an enterprise PMO (EPMO). Other SAP Canada offices including Montreal and Toronto will be embarking on coordinated EPMO implementations in early 2001.
