How do we know that we have everything?

Since the new Federal Rules for Civil Procedures (FRCP) were published in December 2006, software vendors, consultants, and businesses have been scrambling to determine how these new regulations will affect their organizations. Software vendors have had to design products that meet FRCP requirements. Consultants have had to gain a high degree of knowledge about the FRCP in a short amount of time, as well as make themselves familiar with the various ediscovery products introduced to the marketplace. Businesses have had to address how the new rules affect their legal hold, notification, and data collection processes as well as their everyday operational business processes, like performing tape backups and restoration processes for legacy data.
