Robbins-Gioia Announces Opening of California Office
July 10, 2006, Alexandria, VA—Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of program management (PM)
consulting solutions, announced today the opening of its California office in the state capitol of Sacramento.
A pioneer in program and project management, Robbins-Gioia has managed critical projects in California since
1992 and has been a certified California Multiple Award Schedules vendor since 2000. The company will continue
to provide program management support to its California customers in developing and establishing program
management offices, aligning information technology with business needs, process improvement, knowledge
management, project/portfolio management, and PM training and mentoring.
Robbins-Gioia’s current engagements within the State of California include PM support to the Consolidation
Management Office for the establishment of the Department of Technology Services and independent project
oversight consulting services for a high-criticality project. Previous engagements included providing
management support to the California Franchise Tax Board’s Integrated Nonfiler Compliance project and
the California Child Support Automation System. Robbins-Gioia also implemented the Programmed Depot
Maintenance Scheduling System throughout DOD depots, including the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow
and North Island Naval Air Depot in San Diego. Robbins-Gioia recently began an engagement at the Sierra
Army Depot in northern California.
